A. Michelle Reed is an associate attorney whose practice is primarily focused upon employment/labor matters, trademark and copyright counseling and prosecution and business litigation.

Michelle assists individuals and companies in a wide variety of employment matters, including wage and hour violations, PTO disputes, severance agreements and releases, retaliation, discrimination and harassment claims and breach of employment agreements.

Michelle works with businesses to address their trademark and copyright needs. Her intellectual property practice focuses on U.S. trademark counseling and prosecution, advising on branding strategies, pursuing and resolving trademark and copyright infringement and domain name disputes.

Michelle has represented companies and individuals in the areas of commercial law, contract disputes, trademark and copyright disputes, employment law, construction defect, insurance and product liability. She has been responsible for coordination of the defense of complex litigation in several jurisdictions and has managed enormous volumes of materials necessary for the litigation of these cases. Michelle has also litigated a number of these cases successfully as the responsible attorney. Michelle has litigated before administrative agencies and federal and state trial courts and has successfully represented clients in alternative dispute resolution efforts. Michelle served as a law clerk to the Honorable James Ware, United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.
