James has represented public and private companies, as well as individuals, in many different types of corporate transactions, including entity formations, securities offerings (private and public), mergers and acquisitions (including reverse merger going public transactions), private equity and venture capital investments, SEC public company reporting, and a wide variety of business contracts. Many of these transactions had international components, with a special emphasis on clients located in China.

James’ industry experience includes work in the following sectors: internet and technology, biotech, manufacturing, organic food marketing, restaurants/bars and other retail establishments, private equity and investment banking, real estate finance, energy and green technology, the fashion industry and various creative industries including music, art, computer graphics and publishing. 

James is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
